1) Zero tolerance for CSAE/CSAM
At Lorenzo Simonelli, protecting children and preventing any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) is a top priority. Cherie maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward any content, behavior, or activity involving child sexual abuse or exploitation, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
2) Age requirement
Cherie is not intended for minors. Users must be at least 18 years old (or the minimum legal age in their country) to use the app and its services.
3) Prohibited content and behavior
Our standards strictly prohibit, including but not limited to:
- Any form of child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE)
- Creating, sharing, uploading, requesting, or distributing CSAM
- Grooming, soliciting, or attempting to engage with minors for sexual purposes
- Sexual content involving or depicting minors, including “teen/young-looking” content, roleplay, deepfakes, or AI-generated content involving minors
- Any attempt to direct users to external platforms, groups, or links to facilitate CSAE/CSAM
- Misrepresenting age or identity, especially to interact with minors
4) Reporting and in-app tools
If you encounter any behavior or content that may involve the exploitation or endangerment of a child, please report it immediately using Cherie's in-app reporting tools (e.g., from the profile/report menu or within the support/settings area).
5) Enforcement actions
When we receive a report or become aware of potential CSAE/CSAM, we may:
- Remove content
- Restrict features
- Suspend or terminate accounts
- Preserve relevant information where legally permitted and necessary for safety and investigations
6) Cooperation with authorities
We comply with applicable child safety laws and regulations and cooperate with law enforcement and relevant child protection organizations when required. If we identify or reasonably suspect CSAM, we may report it to the appropriate authorities as required by law.
